Perimeter Solutions works with transportation agencies in the application of ground-applied fire retardants along roadways to protect high-risk areas from potential fire ignition. MUNICIPAL PRODUCTS
Aerial Fire Retardants
PHOS-CHEK® aerial fire retardants are available in a range of physical forms, viscosities, and colors to meet a range of firefighting requirements. All PHOS-CHEK retardants are fully qualified by the USDA Forest Service. We offer aerial and ground-applied chemical retardant for control and management of wildland fires.
Ground-Applied Fire Retardants
Perimeter Solutions offers a comprehensive range of ground-applied fire retardants for season-long protection and for fast application during scheduled burn or emerging wildfire conditions. These solutions are fully qualified by the USDA Forest Service.
Class A Foam
Perimeter Solutions offers a range of Class A foam options under our PHOS-CHEK® brand – including industry leading product PHOS-CHEK® WD881 and PHOS-CHEK® FIRST RESPONSE – fully qualified by the USDA Forest Service. These foams increase the effectiveness of water for direct suppression and mop up and can be used in both aerial and ground operations.
Class B Foam
Perimeter Solutions’ SOLBERG® and AUXQUIMIA® Class B firefighting foams utilize the latest technology and are among the most effective and environmentally responsible products on the market. Our Class B product portfolio includes the world leading SOLBERG fluorine-free formulations (SFFF and AR-SFFF), C6-based aqueous film-forming foams (AFFF) and alcohol-resistant aqueous film-forming foams (AR-AFFF).
Our fluorine-free foams have a range of comprehensive 3rd party-recognized approvals, including Underwriters Laboratories (UL), Factory Mutual (FM), EN-1568 Certified, International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) levels B and C, International Maritime Organization (IMO), US Military Specification 32725, GESIP, and LASTFIRE Certified. These foam concentrates are offered in 1%, 3%, and 6% proportioned versions and include freeze-protected and low-viscosity options.
Fire Extinguisher Additives
Perimeter Solutions fire extinguisher additives are especially designed for use in portable fire extinguishers. These foam concentrates are designed for use with handheld or wheeled units for rapid extinguishment of shallow spill fires. They are compatible with carbon steel and light alloys exhibiting low-corrosion rates.
Equipment
Perimeter Solutions PHOS-CHEK mixing equipment provides easy mixing for support of airtanker, helicopter, and ground operations. We also offer equipment for application of fire retardants, foams and gels. Systems can be fabricated and customized for a particular need.
