Our firefighting products are designed for use in high risk, high hazard applications where there is no room for error. This Business Development role will be a key component to the growth of Perimeter Solutions, identifying new business in government and municipal markets.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Objectives of this Role<\/strong><\/p><ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><li>Develop new business opportunities targeting key vertical markets including municipal distributors, government entities including local, state, and federal fire departments\/organizations, and military and commercial aircraft rescue firefighting fire departments.<\/li><li>Develop knowledge of the full product portfolio with special emphasis\/expertise in Class A foams used in municipal and wildland fires, Class B foams for municipal fire departments and distributors, and MilSpec foams used at commercial and government airports for aircraft rescue firefighting.\u00a0<\/li><li>Develop presentations for new business opportunities and foster relationships and develop partnerships with new customers<\/li><li>Monitor market trends and customer needs to help develop product, marketing, and channel strategy.<\/li><li>Support the transition of new customers to the sales staff<\/li><li>Support strategic initiatives to meet business goals<\/li><\/ul><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Daily and Monthly Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p><ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><li>Identify new customer targets in key vertical markets<\/li><li>Prepare and present company and product orientation for new customers<\/li><li>Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers and meet regularly with management and stakeholders to discuss strategy<\/li><li>Manage proposal response process, including detailed RFP requirements, content creation, and\u00a0inputs from various sources<\/li><li>Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, select the deals in-line with strategies, and lead and facilitate<\/li><li>Support the business at trade shows and industry conferences<\/li><\/ul><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Skills and Qualifications<\/strong><\/p><ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Business, Management, and\/or Engineering<\/li><li>Successful track record in B2B sales and negotiation<\/li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills<\/li><li>Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word<\/li><li>Exposure to business enterprise systems (i.e. \u2013 NetSuite, SAP)<\/li><\/ul><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Preferred Qualifications<\/strong><\/p><ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><li>Experience with CRM software (i.e., NetSuite)<\/li><li>Ability to create and deliver presentations<\/li><li>Ability to travel to 75% of the time, majority of travel throughout USA, with some to Canada, Latin America, South America, Caribbean<\/li><li>Home based work environment<\/li><li>Ability to travel by air, vehicle, and public transportation<\/li><li>Lift up to 50 lbs<\/li><\/ul><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Benefits:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Perimeter Solutions offers a variety of health and wellbeing benefit programs.
