AUXQUIMIA^® RFC-105
CLASS A/ SYNTHETIC MULTIEXPANSION FOAM CONCENTRATE (0.2%-1%)

AUXQUIMIA^® RFC-105 is a synthetic foam concentrate with good wetting properties. It is specifically formulated to produce foams for fighting Class A fires (forest, urban, structural, etc.) that can also be used effectively to Class B fires (hydrocarbons). It can be used with low, medium and high expansion foam equipment, with non-aspirating equipment (water spray nozzles, sprinklers, etc.) and CAFS (compressed air systems).

When used on Class A fires, the foam AUXQIUMIA RFC-105 produces adheres well to the material and the fluid drained from the foam, has good wetting properties and penetrates into the substrate preventing a possible reignition. When used to fight Class B fires it can be applied with low- and medium-expansion nozzles. In low expansion applications, it is advisable to use gentle application. The use of AUXQIUMIA RFC-105 is particularly interesting with compressed air foam systems (CAFS) in Class A and Class B fires, where its high efficiency reduces water consumption.

The nominal proportioning rate of AUXQIUMIA RFC-105 is 0.5% in fresh or sea water. This rate can be varied between 0.2 and 1.0%, depending on the type of foam desired. High concentrations (1%) are recommended for high expansion foams and when slow drainage times are desired. With its very low viscosity, AUXQIUMIA RFC-105  dissolves very quickly in water, with little agitation. The concentrate is highly biodegradable
