CLASS B – AFFF FIRE
EXTINGUISHER ADDITIVES

AUXQUIMIA AQUAFILM® EX-1 and EX-10 are aqueous film forming foam (AFFF) fire extinguisher additives for the suppression of hydrocarbon fires.

Due to their improved aqueous film characteristics, both products extinguish very quickly on light fuels, when applied as foam or spray. They exhibit exceptionally low corrosion rates on carbon steel and light alloys.

AUXQUIMIA AQUAFILM EX-1 is specially designed for use in portable fire extinguishers at a dose rate of 1%. It can be used with low expansion foam equipment (foam nozzles) and non-aspirating devices (water spray nozzles and standard sprinklers).

AUXQUIMIA AQUAFILM EX-10 is specially designed for use in portable fire extinguishers at a dose rate of between 6% and 10%. It can be used with low expansion foam equipment (foam nozzles) and non-aspirating devices (water spray nozzles and standard sprinklers). In addition to the typical surfactants in AFFF, it contains special salts to increase its performance on Class A fires (solid).
